Start at the Airlie Beach Lagoon, located in the center of Airlie Beach. From the Lagoon, head north along Shute Harbour Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Mandalay Road. Turn left onto Mandalay Road and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Three Plank Jetty. Follow the path leading down to the jetty, which will be on your right.

From Airlie Beach, catch the local bus service that runs towards Mandalay. Board the bus at the bus stop near the Airlie Beach Lagoon. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Mandalay Road. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, walk along Mandalay Road for about 400 meters towards 258 Mandalay Road. You will find Three Plank Jetty located down the path on your right.
