Walking
If you are starting from the Airlie Beach Lagoon, head south on Shute Harbour Road. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade, and continue walking along the waterfront. The Boardwalk will be on your right side as you approach the scenic views of the ocean.

If you are at the Port of Airlie, exit the port area and head west towards Shute Harbour Road. Once you reach Shute Harbour Road, turn right and walk south for about 15 minutes. When you reach the Esplanade, turn left and follow it until you see the Boardwalk on your right.

From Whitsunday Shopping Centre, exit the shopping area and turn right onto Shute Harbour Road. Walk straight for approximately 1 km until you reach the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade and continue walking along the waterfront. The Boardwalk will be visible on your right as you approach the beach.
