Eden House Retreat, the oldest remaining homestead in Yungaburra, offers a unique blend of history and relaxation. Built around 1912 by timber merchant Archie Belson, the house, originally named “Cedrella”, quickly became a social hub for the district, boasting large verandas, a tennis court, and magnificent English gardens.Over the years, Eden House has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Today, it features charming garden cottages, each equipped with air conditioning, an electric fireplace, a private courtyard, and a kitchenette. Guests can also enjoy modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, bathrobes, and plunger coffee.The retreat is ideally located within walking distance of Yungaburra's restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries. Nearby attractions include the Yungaburra Platypus Viewing Area and the Curtain Fig National Park. Eden House Retreat provides a peaceful escape and a convenient base for exploring the natural wonders of the Atherton Tablelands.Obi's Restaurant, located on-site, offers lunch and dinner with al fresco dining and garden views. Guests can also enjoy a continental breakfast for an additional charge. The retreat offers free parking and is a perfect romantic getaway.
