If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Barossa Valley. Head south on the Barossa Valley Way (B37) towards Williamstown. Continue on B37 for about 15 km. As you approach Williamstown, turn left onto South Para Road. Follow South Para Road for approximately 6 km until you reach the South Para Reservoir. There is parking available near the reservoir.

For those using public transportation, catch the bus from Barossa Valley to Gawler, which is the closest major town. Several bus services operate along this route. Once you arrive in Gawler, transfer to a local bus that services Williamstown. Be sure to check the current bus schedules as they may vary. After arriving in Williamstown, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to South Para Reservoir. Head south on Williamstown Road, then turn left onto South Para Road and walk until you reach the reservoir.

If you're feeling adventurous and wish to cycle, you can rent a bike in Barossa Valley. Follow the same route as if you were driving. Cycle south on Barossa Valley Way (B37) and then onto South Para Road. The total cycling distance is about 21 km one way. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, as the route can be quite exposed.
