Getting There

  • Car

    From Katoomba, drive east on the Great Western Highway (A32) towards Wentworth Falls. After about 3km, take the Wentworth Falls exit and follow the signs to Falls Road. Continue on Falls Road until you reach the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area and Jamison Lookout parking area on your left. Parking is free, but spaces fill up quickly on weekends. Be aware that overflow parking is available on Falls Road.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Blue Mountains Line train from Sydney Central Station to Wentworth Falls Station. The train journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. From the station, you can take the 685 bus which will drop you off near the intersection of Fletcher Street and Valley Road. Alternatively, you can walk from Wentworth Falls Station to Jamison Lookout. Exit the station and walk south towards the Great Western Highway. Cross the highway and turn left onto Falls Road. Follow Falls Road for approximately 1.8km, then turn right onto Sir Henry Burrell Drive. Walk about 80m to the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area and Jamison Lookout. A short taxi ride from Wentworth Falls Station is also an option. Opal card is required for public transport. A single bus fare is approximately $2.24 - $3.50.
