    From Wentworth Falls Picnic Area, the Overcliff-Undercliff Track begins near the parking area. Follow the signs for the Overcliff-Undercliff Track and Valley of the Waters. The circuit can also be started from the Conservation Hut, reached via Fletcher Street.

  • Public Transport

    Take the train to Wentworth Falls Station. From the station, you can catch the 685 bus towards North Wentworth Falls, alighting at Falls Rd at Parkes St, about 100m from the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area. Alternatively, it's approximately a 25-minute (2km) walk from the station to the picnic area. A one-way train fare from Central Station to Wentworth Falls Station costs around $8 - $15. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.24 - $3.20.

The trail begins at the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area, a popular spot with parking, toilets, and barbecue facilities. From there, the path leads along the cliff edge, passing Jamison Lookout and Wentworth Falls Lookout, though the falls themselves are not clearly visible from these points. The well-maintained track then descends into the bush, leading to Fletchers Lookout, which offers a closer view of the top of Wentworth Falls. The Undercliff Track is arguably the most scenic section, winding through lush surroundings with rock overhangs, stepping stones, and vibrant moss and fern vegetation. The path runs close to the cliff edge but remains safe, offering impressive views over the Jamison Valley. The Overcliff Track continues through scenic bushland, leading to Breakfast Point Lookout, an un-signposted vantage point with a stone wall and excellent views. Further along, Lyrebird Lookout provides views of Sublime Point and Mount Solitary. The track then ascends to the Conservation Hut, where you can enjoy a snack or meal. The final stretch is along the Shortcut Track, a less scenic but direct path back to the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area. Along the way, wildflowers add splashes of color in warmer months.
