From Brisbane Central Station, head to the nearest bus stop located on Ann Street. Take the 199, 300, or 320 bus and disembark at the stop on Elizabeth Street near the City Botanic Gardens. Walk down Elizabeth Street towards the north, and the Cathedral of St Stephen will be on your right at 249 Elizabeth Street.

If you are near the Brisbane River, head to the nearest CityCat terminal. Take a CityCat towards Northshore Hamilton and disembark at the Riverside terminal. From there, walk towards the Botanic Gardens and follow the path leading to Albert Street. Turn left on Albert Street, then right onto Elizabeth Street, and you will find the Cathedral of St Stephen at 249 Elizabeth Street.
