Bus
If you are near the Brisbane Central Station, you can catch the 199 bus from the bus stop on Ann Street. Take the bus heading towards 'Carindale Shopping Centre' and alight at the stop 'Alice Street near Edward Street'. From there, walk down Alice Street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the City Botanic Gardens at 147 Alice St.
Train and Walk
Take a train from any station in Brisbane to the Brisbane Central Station. Once you arrive at the Central Station, exit onto Ann Street. Walk south towards Alice Street (about a 10-minute walk). Turn left onto Alice Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance to the City Botanic Gardens.
CityCat Ferry
If you are near the Brisbane River, you can take the CityCat ferry. Board a CityCat ferry at any of the river terminals. Disembark at the 'Botanic Gardens' terminal. Once you alight, walk up the ramp towards Alice Street, and you will find the entrance to the City Botanic Gardens directly ahead.
Walking
If you are already in the Brisbane City area, you can easily walk to the City Botanic Gardens. Head towards Alice Street, which is accessible from Queen Street Mall. Walk east on Queen Street, then turn right onto Albert Street. Continue walking until you reach Alice Street, then turn left. The entrance to the City Botanic Gardens will be just a short walk away on your left.
Bicycle
Brisbane has a bike-sharing program. You can rent a bike from any of the city’s bike stations. Ride towards the Brisbane River and follow the riverwalk path. Head towards the City Botanic Gardens, which is located at 147 Alice St. There are bike racks available near the entrance where you can securely park your bike.
