Getting There

• Train

  From Brisbane Central Station, take the Ipswich Line train towards Ipswich. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at Ipswich Station. Once you arrive at Ipswich Station, exit the station and head south on Bell Street. Turn left onto Brisbane Street and continue walking until you reach Queen Victoria Parade. The Ipswich Visitor Information Centre will be on your right at 14 Queen Victoria Parade.

• Bus

  From the Brisbane City area, you can catch a bus to Ipswich. Board the 500 bus service from Queen Street Bus Station, which is located near the Brisbane River. The bus will take you directly to Ipswich. After about 50 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre. Follow the signs to Queen Victoria Parade, and you will find the centre at 14 Queen Victoria Parade.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike hire services in Brisbane. Follow the Bicentennial Bikeway towards the western suburbs, which will lead you towards Ipswich. The ride is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Ipswich, follow the local bike paths to reach Queen Victoria Parade, where the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre is located at 14 Queen Victoria Parade.

• Walking

  If you are already in Ipswich, the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre is easily accessible on foot. From the central Ipswich area, head south on Brisbane Street until you reach Queen Victoria Parade. The centre is located at 14 Queen Victoria Parade, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the heart of Ipswich.
