Getting There

• Bus

  To reach the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon, catch a bus to the 'Cultural Centre' bus stop. You can find buses heading to this stop from various locations in Brisbane, including the city centre. Once you arrive at the bus stop, walk towards the South Bank Parklands, and follow the signs directing you to the river. The pontoon is located directly along the waterfront, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Train

  Take the train to South Brisbane station. From the station, exit and head towards Grey Street, then walk straight down Grey Street until you reach the intersection with Melbourne Street. Turn left onto Melbourne Street and continue until you reach the South Bank Parklands. Follow the path through the parklands towards the river, and you will find the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon along the waterfront.

• Ferry

  If you prefer to arrive by ferry, take a CityCat ferry to the 'Cultural Centre' stop. The CityCat services run regularly from various points along the Brisbane River. When you disembark, follow the signs towards the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon, which is located right by the river and easily accessible.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in South Brisbane or the CBD, you can simply walk to the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon. From the Brisbane CBD, cross the Victoria Bridge towards South Brisbane, turn right onto Grey Street, and continue walking until you reach the South Bank Parklands. The pontoon is located along the riverfront, and you can easily spot it while walking through the parklands.
