Bus
To reach the Story Bridge by bus, start at the Brisbane City Hall (located at 64 Adelaide St, Brisbane). From there, take the City Loop bus (Route 40 or 50) towards New Farm. Get off at the stop named 'Brisbane Powerhouse' on Lamington Street. From the bus stop, walk towards the river, then take a left onto the riverwalk, which will lead you directly to the Story Bridge. The entire journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

Ferry
To get to the Story Bridge via ferry, head to the nearest ferry terminal, which is the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens (located at 1 Alice St, Brisbane). Board the CityCat ferry heading towards the Northshore Hamilton. Disembark at the New Farm Park ferry terminal. From there, walk along the riverfront by taking the path towards the Story Bridge. It is about a 15-minute walk along the scenic riverwalk. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in the city. Start at Queen Street Mall and cycle towards the Brisbane River. Follow the riverfront cycle path heading east, which will take you directly to the Story Bridge. The ride is approximately 3.5 km and should take around 15-20 minutes. There are bike racks available near the bridge for parking.

Walking
If you're nearby and want to walk to the Story Bridge, a great starting point is the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. From there, walk towards Alice Street and cross the Victoria Bridge. Continue straight until you reach the riverside path. Follow the path along the river until you reach the Story Bridge. The walk should take about 30 minutes, offering beautiful views along the way.
