From Brisbane Central Station, walk to the nearest bus stop at Queen Street Mall. Catch bus number 199 towards the city and get off at the stop named 'Alice Street at the Gardens'. From there, walk along Alice Street until you reach the Hibiscus Sundial at 147 Alice St. Alternatively, take a CityCat ferry and disembark at Eagle Street Pier, then walk towards Alice Street along the riverbank for about 10 minutes to reach the sundial. As of August 5, 2024, all public transport fares across the Translink network are a flat rate of $0.50 for six months.
