Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Kangaroo Point, start by heading towards River Terrace. From the Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park, walk down the hill towards the river. Once you reach River Terrace, turn left and follow the road. You will see signs for Kangaroo Point View. The distance is approximately 1 km and will take about 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transport - Bus

  Catch a bus from a nearby bus stop. Look for Bus 199 or any bus heading towards the city. Alight at the stop nearest to River Terrace, which is typically called 'Kangaroo Point'. From there, follow River Terrace on foot towards the location (29 River Terrace). The bus fare is around AUD 3.50 to AUD 5 depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  If you have a bicycle, you can cycle to Kangaroo Point View. Use the bicycle paths that run along the river. Head towards the Brisbane River and follow the path along the waterfront. There are bike racks available near Kangaroo Point View if you need to lock your bike.

• Ferry

  Take a ferry from the city to Kangaroo Point. Board the CityCat ferry at the nearest terminal, such as North Quay or Riverside. The ferry ride is scenic and takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kangaroo Point ferry terminal, it is a short 10-minute walk to Kangaroo Point View. The ferry fare is approximately AUD 5.00.
