Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Merthyr Park, which is located near the corner of Merthyr Road and the Brisbane River. The park is well signposted, and you will see the beautiful green space ahead.

    For a scenic route, you can take the CityCat ferry. Head to the nearest ferry terminal, New Farm Park Ferry Terminal, located along the Brisbane River. From there, board the CityCat heading towards the University of Queensland. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the next stop, which is Ferry Terminal at Merthyr. You will find Merthyr Park just a short walk away from the ferry terminal. Note that a single fare costs approximately AUD 4.50, but prices may vary depending on the time of travel.
