Starting from the Byron Bay town center, head towards Jonson Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Lawson Street. Turn left onto Lawson Street and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Shirley Street. Follow Shirley Street as it turns into Lighthouse Road. After about 1.5 km, you will reach Boardwalk at 146 Lighthouse Rd. Look for the sign marking the entrance, and you will find the hiking area just a short distance from the road.

From the Byron Bay town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start by heading towards Jonson Street and then onto Lawson Street. Take the roundabout's second exit onto Shirley Street. Follow Shirley Street, which will eventually turn into Lighthouse Road. The ride is approximately 1.5 km, and you will arrive at Boardwalk located at 146 Lighthouse Rd. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
