Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Lighthouse Road, passing the Byron Bay Golf Club. Follow the signs to Captain Cook Lookout. This walk takes about 30-40 minutes.

Alternatively, a NSW National Parks 'Single Country Park Pass' can be purchased for $22, allowing unlimited parking at various locations within Cape Byron State Conservation Area for 12 months.
