Walking
From the Byron Bay Main Beach, head east along Lawson Street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Shirley Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bangalow Road. Turn left onto Bangalow Road and follow it until you reach the coastal path sign. From there, you can follow the path that leads you towards Lighthouse Beach in East Ballina. The walk should take about 40-50 minutes.
Public Transport
From Byron Bay, walk to the bus stop at Jonson Street (near the Byron Bay Visitor Centre). Catch the Blanchs Bus #600 towards Ballina. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Lighthouse Beach Road. From there, walk east along Lighthouse Beach Road until you reach the beach entrance.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Byron Bay. Head east on Lawson Street, then continue to Shirley Street. Follow Shirley Street until it turns into the coastal bike path. Keep following the path along the coast towards East Ballina. The ride should take approximately 25-30 minutes, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
