Walking
If you are starting from the Byron Bay town center, head east on Jonson Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several scenic coastal views along the way. The Cape Byron Information Centre will be located on your right at 199 Lighthouse Rd.
Bicycle
From Byron Bay town center, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head east on Jonson Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach Lighthouse Road, then turn left. Follow Lighthouse Road for about 1.5 kilometers. There are designated bike lanes for much of the route, making it a safe and enjoyable ride. The Cape Byron Information Centre will be on your right at 199 Lighthouse Rd.
Public Transport
Catch the local bus service that goes towards Cape Byron. The bus stop is located near the Byron Bay town center. Board the bus that goes in the direction of the lighthouse. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Cape Byron Information Centre stop. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and you will find the Centre at 199 Lighthouse Rd.
