Getting There

Walking
Start at the Byron Bay Lighthouse located on Lighthouse Road. From the lighthouse, head down the walking path that leads to Cape Byron Headland. Follow the path as it winds down the hill toward the beach. When you reach the beach, continue walking south along the shore. You will pass several rocky outcrops and sandy stretches of beach. Keep walking until you see a section of the beach where the waves crash against the rocks. The Wreck is located just beyond this area, partially submerged in the water. Please be cautious as the rocks can be slippery.

Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Byron Bay. Start your ride on Lawson Street and head towards the beach. Follow the path along the coastline towards the Byron Bay Lighthouse. As you approach Lighthouse Road, shift onto the dedicated bike path that leads down towards the beach. Once you reach the beach, park your bike and walk south along the shoreline. Look for the rocky area where The Wreck is located, just off the coast.
