Explore Green Island with Diving options from Cairns
Don't bother with lunch option.
The crossing was very rough but you can't change the weather unfortunately. I had the lunch option. I was left a little disappointed. It was mainly an Asian cuisine given 95% of passengers were Chinese. Good if you like plain rice and curry slop. Youd think there'd be a drink included for the price. There is cafe on Island and take out. Snorkelling was good if you know where to go. I ventured further out where eventually the reef existed. I saw lots of colourful fish and corals and 2 turtles.

Zoom helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef.
Great pilot & staff. The views on this 1 hour flight were magnificent. You will never see this in any other location around the world. Best day outing we have had to date.

Fitzroy and Green Island From Cairns: Great Barrier Reef
1 day, 2 islands.
Great way to see the reef and the islands in one day. Perfect experience for those who only have a few days in Cairns and surrounding areas. Bring some reef/water shoes for comfort walking on the sand. Highly recommend the glass bottom boat tours, especially if snorkelling conditions are not ideal.
