Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Cairns Central Business District (CBD), head towards Abbott Street. The gallery is located at 40 Abbott St, Cairns City. Start by walking down Spence Street towards the Cairns Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade and continue until you reach Abbott Street. Turn right onto Abbott Street, and you will find the Cairns Art Gallery on your left. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

• Public Transport

  If you are further away, you can take a public bus to the Cairns Central Station. From there, exit onto Spence Street and head towards the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade and follow it until you reach Abbott Street. Turn right onto Abbott Street, and the gallery will be on your left at 40 Abbott St. Check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route and times, as services may vary.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to ride a bicycle, there are bike paths along the Esplanade. Start from any point in the CBD and head towards the Esplanade. Once on the Esplanade, ride north until you reach Abbott Street. Turn right onto Abbott Street, and the Cairns Art Gallery will be on your left at 40 Abbott St. There are bike racks available outside the gallery for secure parking.
