Bus
From the Canberra City Centre, head to the bus stop located at Northbourne Avenue. Take the ACTION bus route 3 or 4 towards the National Gallery of Australia. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Alight at the 'National Gallery' stop, which is near the intersection of Parkes Way and King’s Avenue. From there, walk south along King’s Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the National Archives of Australia at 1 Kings Ave, Parkes ACT 2600.

Walking
If you are in the Canberra City Centre, you can walk to the National Archives of Australia. Start at the corner of Bunda Street and Akuna Street. Head south on Akuna Street until you reach the intersection with Northbourne Avenue. Turn left and walk along Northbourne Avenue, then turn right onto Parkes Way. Continue walking south, and after about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance of the National Archives of Australia, located on Kings Avenue.

Cycle
For a cycling option, rent a bike from one of the rental stations in the Canberra City Centre. Head south on Akuna Street to Northbourne Avenue and turn left. Continue on Northbourne Avenue until you reach the intersection with Parkes Way. Turn right onto Parkes Way and follow the bike path alongside the road. After about 15-20 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at the National Archives of Australia on Kings Avenue.
