From Braddon, head south towards the city center on Lonsdale Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Northbourne Avenue. Cross Northbourne Avenue and continue onto Canberra Avenue, which will lead you to the banks of the lake. Follow the path along the lake until you reach the main entrance of the National Museum of Australia at Lawson Cres, Acton ACT 2601. This walk is approximately 2.5 km and should take around 30-35 minutes.
