If you're starting from the Canberra City Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Canberra Centre (located on Bunda Street). Take bus route 3 or 4 towards Woden. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Parliament House' stop. From there, it's a pleasant 10-minute walk: head down the path towards the lake, then turn left onto Barrine Drive. The National Capital Exhibition will be on your right.

From the Canberra City Centre, you can take the light rail from the City to the 'Canberra Airport' station. Disembark at the 'Canberra Airport' and transfer to bus route 20, which goes directly to the exhibition. The bus will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'National Capital Exhibition' stop, and you'll be right at the entrance.

If you are close to Lake Burley Griffin, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at the National Gallery of Australia and walk along the lake's edge. Follow the path that leads to Barrine Drive, and you will find the National Capital Exhibition after about a 30-minute walk. This route offers beautiful views of the lake and surrounding gardens.
