If you're traveling by car from central Cape Tribulation, head south on the main road (Cape Tribulation Rd) until you reach the intersection with the Daintree River Ferry. Cross the river using the ferry (cost is approximately AUD 30 for a car return) and continue on the Mossman-Daintree Rd. After about 20 km, turn left onto Kimberley Esplanade. Shipwreck Bay is located at Lot 78 Kimberley Esplanade, which will be on your right after a few hundred meters.

For those using public transportation, catch a bus from the Cape Tribulation bus stop heading towards Port Douglas. Alight at the Daintree River Ferry stop. From there, you will need to take the ferry (cost is approximately AUD 30 for a return trip). Once across the river, you can either wait for a local taxi or use rideshare services to reach Shipwreck Bay at Lot 78 Kimberley Esplanade. It is advisable to check for local taxi services in advance as they may have limited availability.
