Getting There

    If you are driving from Cape Tribulation, begin your journey by heading south on the Cape Tribulation Road. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers (about 40 minutes) until you reach the junction at Daintree River. At this junction, follow the signs to the Daintree Ferry. The ferry operates from 5 AM to 8 PM daily, and there is a fee for crossing the river, so be prepared for this additional cost (approximately AUD 30 for a standard vehicle). After crossing the river, continue on the same road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Daintree Gateway, which will be on your left.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take a shuttle bus from Cape Tribulation to Mossman. This shuttle service typically runs several times a day and will drop you off in Mossman, where you can connect to a bus service heading to the Daintree Ferry.
