If you are driving, start from the main road in Cape Tribulation. Head north on the Captain Cook Highway (State Route 1) for about 2 kilometers. Look for the Mount Sorrow trailhead on your left, marked by a sign indicating the trail to Mount Sorrow. There is limited parking available at the trailhead.

If you are using public transportation, take a local shuttle bus that travels between Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Mount Sorrow trailhead, which is usually near the Cape Tribulation village. From there, walk approximately 500 meters to the trailhead, following the signs that indicate the way to Mount Sorrow.
