Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Melbourne, take the M8 highway towards Ballarat. Continue on the M8 until you reach the Western Highway (A300). Take the exit for Stawell and follow the signs to the Grampians National Park. From Stawell, head towards Halls Gap and follow the signs to MacKenzie Falls. The falls are located at Northern Grampians Rd, Zumsteins VIC 3401. There is a parking area available near the falls, and parking is free.

• Public Transportation

  To reach MacKenzie Falls via public transportation, take a train from Melbourne to Stawell on the V/Line service. This journey takes around 3 hours. Once you arrive in Stawell, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Halls Gap. From Halls Gap, you may need to arrange a taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach MacKenzie Falls, as public transport directly to the falls is limited. Ensure to check local bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the falls, there are walking tracks from the car park that lead to the falls. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and can take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during warmer months.
