Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Merrylands West. Use your GPS to navigate to Cumberland Hwy & Merrylands Road, Merrylands West NSW 2160. From the Central West region, take the Great Western Highway (A32) and merge onto the Cumberland Highway (M7) towards Merrylands. Continue on Cumberland Highway until you reach the intersection with Merrylands Road. The Central Gardens Nature Reserve is located at this intersection. There is ample free parking available at the reserve.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by finding the nearest train station in the Central West region. Take a train to Merrylands Station on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line. Upon arriving at Merrylands Station, exit and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Board Bus Route 804 or 810, which travels towards Merrylands West. Disembark at the stop at Cumberland Hwy & Merrylands Road. From there, the Central Gardens Nature Reserve is just a short walk away. Be sure to check the current bus schedules for precise timings. A single bus fare may incur a cost, typically around AUD 3-5.
