Car
To reach Sydney Zoo by car from anywhere in South West, start by getting onto the M4 motorway, which is the major highway connecting various suburbs to Sydney. Depending on your starting point, follow local roads to connect to the M4. Once on the M4, head towards the city and look for signs directing you to Eastern Creek. Take exit 18 towards Great Western Highway/A32. Merge onto Great Western Highway and continue for approximately 5 kilometers. The zoo will be on your left at 700 Great Western Hwy, Eastern Creek NSW 2766. Parking is available on-site but may incur a fee, so check the zoo's website for the latest parking information.
Public Transportation
If you're taking public transport, start by locating the nearest train station to your current location in South West. You will need to take a train towards Sydney Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, transfer to a train on the T1 North Shore & Western Line towards Emu Plains. Alight at the St Marys station. From St Marys, catch a bus (Route 770) heading towards Eastern Creek. The bus stop for Sydney Zoo is located near the zoo entrance. Ensure you have a valid Opal card for travel, which can be purchased at train stations or convenience stores, and be aware that fares will apply based on distance traveled.
