If you are traveling by car, start by heading southwest on the Coorong Road (B57) from the center of Coorong. Continue on B57 for about 20 kilometers until you reach Goolwa. As you approach Goolwa, follow the signs towards Goolwa South and turn onto Beacon 19 Boat Ramp Road. The Goolwa Barrage will be located at the end of this road. There is no parking fee at the barrage area.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Coorong to Goolwa. The bus service is operated by the Adelaide Metro, so make sure to check the latest service schedules. Once you arrive at the Goolwa bus terminal, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards the Goolwa Barrage. Head south on Porter Street, then take a left onto Goolwa Road, and finally turn right onto Beacon 19 Boat Ramp Road. Allow about 20-25 minutes for this walk.
