Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on the main road in Coorong. Head towards the Coorong National Park entrance and follow the signs for Hindmarsh Island. Once you cross the bridge to Hindmarsh Island, continue straight on the main road until you reach Randell Rd. Turn left onto Randell Rd and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. Coorong Quays will be on your left. There is no toll for the bridge.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from the nearest major town, Goolwa. Check the local bus schedule for times to Hindmarsh Island. Once you arrive at the bus stop on Hindmarsh Island, you will need to walk along Randell Rd for about 1 kilometer to reach Coorong Quays. Ensure to check the bus fares, which may vary depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Coorong. Follow the bike paths towards Hindmarsh Island, crossing the bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow Randell Rd directly to Coorong Quays, which is approximately 1 kilometer from the bridge. Biking is a great way to enjoy the scenery, but make sure you're comfortable cycling alongside cars.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby and prefer walking, you can take a leisurely stroll along the pathways leading to Hindmarsh Island. From the center of Coorong, follow the signage towards the bridge to Hindmarsh Island. Once you cross the bridge, continue along Randell Rd for about 1 kilometer until you reach Coorong Quays. It’s a scenic walk, but be mindful of traffic when walking along the road.
