If you are driving from the Daintree Rainforest area, head south on Mossman-Daintree Road towards Mossman. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Port Douglas Road. Turn left onto Port Douglas Road (Bump Road) and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Wildlife Habitat will be located on your right side at Port Douglas Rd, Port Douglas QLD 4877. Look for the signs indicating the entrance to the sanctuary.
Public Transportation
To reach Wildlife Habitat via public transport, take a bus from the Daintree Rainforest area to Mossman. Services like the Sunbus operate in this region, but check the current schedule as it may vary. Once you arrive in Mossman, transfer to a bus heading to Port Douglas. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Wildlife Habitat, which is located on Port Douglas Road. The bus will drop you off right at the entrance of the sanctuary. Be sure to check the bus timetable for return trips, as services may not run frequently.
