From Melbourne, take the M1 highway towards Geelong. Continue on the M1 until you reach the exit for the Western Freeway (A300) towards Ballarat. After approximately 91 km, take the exit toward Daylesford (C141). Follow the C141 for about 20 km until you reach Daylesford. From Daylesford, follow the signs directing you to Hepburn Springs. Once in Hepburn Springs, follow Main Road until you reach Jacksons Lookout. The lookout is located at approximately -37.308198 latitude and 144.14767 longitude. There may be parking available near the lookout.
Public Transportation
From Melbourne, take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station to Ballarat. The train journey takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Ballarat, transfer to a V/Line bus heading to Daylesford. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Daylesford, you can either take a taxi (which may cost around AUD 20-30) or check local transport options to Hepburn Springs. From Hepburn Springs, Jacksons Lookout is about a 10-minute drive, so consider a taxi or rideshare service if public transport is not available.
