If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any location in Eastern Victoria and head towards the Monash Freeway (M1). Follow the M1 towards Melbourne. Continue on the M1 for approximately 70 km, then take the exit toward CityLink. Keep left to stay on CityLink and follow the signs for Westgate Freeway (M1). After about 10 km, take the exit toward Lorimer St. Merge onto Lorimer St and continue for about 2 km. Turn left onto Waterfront Place, where you will find Centenary Bridge Pylon on the South Side, opposite Princes St in Port Melbourne. There is parking available nearby, but check for any parking fees in the area which may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from any station in Eastern Victoria to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Once at Southern Cross Station, transfer to the tram service. Catch tram number 109 towards Port Melbourne. Stay on the tram until you reach the 'Bay St/Central Ave' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront along Bay St for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Waterfront Place. The Centenary Bridge Pylon will be on your right, opposite Princes St. Be sure to check the current tram schedules and fares, as they may vary.
