Car
From Eastern Victoria, take the Monash Freeway (M1) towards Melbourne. Continue on the M1 for approximately 70 km. As you approach Melbourne, follow signs for CityLink (M1) to merge onto the CityLink toll road. After about 10 km, take the exit toward Footscray Rd and continue straight onto Wurundjeri Way. Keep left to merge onto Lonsdale St. The Melbourne Central Clock is located at 300 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000. There is limited parking around the area, so be prepared to find street parking or use one of the nearby parking garages (fees may apply).
Public Transportation - Train
From Eastern Victoria, head to your nearest train station that services the V/Line trains to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Purchase a ticket to Southern Cross (prices vary depending on your departure station). Once you arrive at Southern Cross Station, exit the station and walk towards Lonsdale St. You can either walk or catch a tram from the station. If walking, head northeast on Spencer St, turn left onto Lonsdale St, and continue until you reach Melbourne Central at 300 Lonsdale St. Alternatively, catch tram number 19, 57 or 59 from the tram stop at Southern Cross Station towards the city, and get off at the Melbourne Central stop.
Public Transportation - Bus
Locate the nearest bus station in Eastern Victoria that services routes to Melbourne's CBD. Routes such as the 900, 901, or 902 buses provide direct services to the city. Purchase a ticket either on board (cash or card) or at the station. After arriving at the nearest bus terminal in Melbourne, you can either walk to Melbourne Central, or catch a tram (as described above) to reach 300 Lonsdale St. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for the best routes and times.
