Port Douglas: Daintree and Cape Tribulation 2-Day Tour
very good company - amazing experience with skilled guide
1 598 After experiences with dubious agencies in Darwin, or after using GetYourGuide which takes your money but provides no follow-up, such as changing the service provider without consulting me despite a drastic change of appointment (Jump Crocodile) and pickup point to a cheaper company and a less suitable boat, or being abandoned at the Ibirr site (thankfully one of the other clients came back to get me), or considering that crossing Kakadu National Park at 100 km/h in a bus constitutes a proper visit to the park, of which I only saw the row of trees on either side, with few animals unfortunately, but with the noise of the traffic, that's to be expected! I had already visited Kakadu Park a few years ago, but it has now been transformed into mango plantations and cattle ranches! And we didn't see anything except the magnificent Ibir site and that high-speed bus ride, but it wasn't enough for one day. Anyway, I found a company that was very professional and respectful of nature: Cairns Adventure Group, and a driver-guide, Ron, who did his job very well. He was experienced and a very good driver, and he took us to all the important and magnificent sites: the authentic Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation, a cruise on the Daintree River and its crocodiles... Much more interesting than the Rainforest Nature Park's cash cow, which is a cash cow in name only. Not to mention the dozens of shops that cover this park and the koalas that are used for photos in tourists' arms, which was shocking.

Cairns: Daintree & Cape Tribulation 2-Day Tour with Options
Great Fun, but actually 4 tours stitched together!
Great tour! Everyone was really helpful. One important thing to note though, that we didn’t realize, is that this isn’t one comprehensive tour. My partner and I started with one group, got dropped off at the lodge to walk to the ziplining with a different group, were on our own for the night, did snorkeling with another group, and then waited at the cafe for a guide and bus to pick us up for the end of the trip and to take us back to town. Everything went really smoothly, but we didn’t understand all the transfers when we first booked. It’s good to know! The other thing to note is that dinner options at the Safari Lodge are very limited, especially without a car. We ended up grabbing provisions from the local grocery (closes at 5:30) to cook ourselves. Overall fun time though! Everyone we interacted with was incredibly helpful and kind and the safari lodge is awesome. Book the private en suite bathroom, it comes with air con, totally worth it!

Private Luxury Cape Tribulation Adventure and Crocodile Cruise
Private Luxury Daintree Tour – Unforgettable from Start to Finish
Private Luxury Cape Tribulation Adventure & Crocodile Cruise Our private rainforest tour with Port Douglas Luxe Tours & Limousines was truly unforgettable. The guides’ knowledge of the rainforest, wildlife, and history was incredible and so engaging — we learned so much in a fun and fascinating way. What made the experience even more special were the luxurious touches and thoughtful details: private vehicle, cold towels, onboard Wi-Fi, refreshing drinks, rain ponchos, breakfast, lunch, and even champagne to finish. Every detail was perfectly considered, making this far beyond a standard tour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a private, premium Daintree adventure
