If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Cairns, which is about 140 kilometers south of Wongaling Beach. Take the Captain Cook Highway (A1) north towards Port Douglas. After approximately 60 kilometers, merge onto the Mossman-Daintree Road (B2) and continue until you reach the intersection with the Bruce Highway (A1). Turn left onto the Bruce Highway and continue north for about 50 kilometers. Take the exit for Tully (A1) and follow the signs towards Wongaling Beach. Once you arrive in Wongaling Beach, turn onto Wongaling Beach Rd. The Big Cassowary is located at 32 Wongaling Beach Rd, Wongaling Beach QLD 4852. Keep an eye out for signs marking the attraction.
