Once you reach Brisbane, take the exit towards State Route 15. Continue following State Route 15 until you reach the Story Bridge, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby, but it may incur a fee, so be sure to have some cash or a card ready.
Public Transportation

To reach Story Bridge via public transportation, start by getting to the nearest bus or train station in Far North Queensland. From Cairns, catch a bus to Brisbane. Once in Brisbane, use the Citytrain network to travel to Fortitude Valley Station. From there, transfer to the bus #230 or #235 to New Farm. Get off at the stop closest to State Route 15.
