Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is located on the Captain Cook Highway, approximately 40 minutes north of Cairns and 20 minutes south of Port Douglas. From either city, follow the Captain Cook Highway (State Route 44). The park is well-signed. There is free off-street parking available, including designated parking for mobility-impaired drivers, coaches, caravans and motor homes. Gates are locked at 5:15 PM.

While there is no direct public transport to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, you can take the 110 bus from Cairns City to Veivers Rd near Captain Cook Hwy. From there, a taxi ride is required to reach the park, costing approximately $65 - $90. Alternatively, several coach services operate from Cairns and Port Douglas, offering shuttle services or full-day tours that include Hartley's Crocodile Adventures. Shuttle services from Cairns cost approximately $28 per adult and $19 per child.
