The house has been meticulously restored to reflect the 1920s and 1930s, showcasing Gibbs' personal artifacts, including her easel, paint box, and folio stand. Visitors can explore the house on a guided tour, discovering more about her life and work. The cottage garden is a highlight, featuring a mix of native and exotic trees and shrubs. The gardens provided inspiration for her work. Wander through the garden, discover small sculptures, and imagine May Gibbs finding inspiration among the blooms. Nutcote offers a gift shop with a wide selection of May Gibbs merchandise, including books, cards, homewares, and jewelry. The Bib and Bub Tearoom offers light refreshments such as Devonshire tea, coffee, cakes, and sandwiches. A children's room provides dress-ups and activities.
