If you are driving from the nearest town, Kununurra, take the Victoria Highway (National Route 1) heading south. After about 220 km, turn onto the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1) and continue for another 200 km until you reach the Bungle Bungles turn-off. Follow the signs to Purnululu National Park, which is approximately 53 km away. Note that the last 46 km of the journey is on unsealed roads, and a 4WD vehicle is recommended. Entry to Purnululu National Park incurs a fee of about $13 per vehicle, so be prepared to pay this upon entry. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Echidna Chasm, where you will find parking available near the trailhead.
