Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Hawker, which is located about 30 kilometers from the Flinders Ranges National Park. From Hawker, head north on the Flinders Ranges Way (B83) for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a junction. Turn left onto the Main North Road (A1) and continue for another 15 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Artimore Ruins, which will be located on the right side of the road. The ruins are situated in Angorigina, approximately 5 kilometers off the main road. There is no entry fee for visiting the ruins.
Public Transportation
Public transport options are limited in the Flinders Ranges, but you can take a bus from Adelaide to Hawker with services provided by the 'Link SA' bus service. Once you arrive at Hawker, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to the Artimore Ruins, as public transport does not provide direct access. Expect taxi fares to be around $50-$70 AUD for the trip. It is advisable to book a taxi in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.
