Car
If you are driving from Wilpena Pound, head southeast on Wilpena Road. Continue for about 20 km until you reach the junction with the Brachina Gorge Road. Turn left onto Brachina Gorge Road and follow it for approximately 6 km. Look for the signs directing you to Razorback Lookout. There is a parking area available near the lookout. Note that the road may be unsealed, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
Take a bus service from Port Augusta to the Flinders Ranges National Park. Arrive at the Wilpena Pound Resort. From there, you can join a guided tour that includes a visit to Razorback Lookout, as public transport options directly to the lookout are limited. Make sure to check the tour schedule in advance, and reserve your spot as these can fill up quickly.
Walking/Hiking
If you are near Wilpena Pound, you can hike to Razorback Lookout. Start at the Wilpena Pound Visitor Center and take the walking trail heading towards the lookout. The hike is approximately 3 km and offers stunning views along the way. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours for the hike to the lookout. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear appropriate footwear.
