Driving
From Hervey Bay, follow Boat Harbour Drive and turn onto Elizabeth Street. Continue past the airport and turn left onto River Heads Road (Ariadne Street). Follow the road to Seafarer Drive. The reserve is located at 63 Seafarer Drive. Parking is available, but limited, with a four-hour parking zone in some areas. Consider using secure parking facilities in River Heads if planning a longer visit. Expect to pay around $40-55 for a taxi from Urangan.
Public Transport
From Hervey Bay, utilize the local bus service to River Heads. The bus trip typically takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop on River Heads Road, walk along Seafarer Drive to the reserve. The bus fare is approximately $5.
Ferry
River Heads is a departure point for ferries to Fraser Island (K'gari). The Fraser Island Ferry operates from River Heads to Wanggoolba Creek and Kingfisher Bay. A one-way ticket costs around $45. The ferry journey takes approximately 30-50 minutes. From Wanggoolba Creek, you can access various attractions on Fraser Island. From Kingfisher Bay, the resort is accessible by 2WD vehicles.
