Car
To reach Lake Allom by car, start from the Kingfisher Bay Resort or the ferry terminal. Head southeast on the main access road. Follow the signs for Lake Allom, which will be located approximately 30 kilometers from your starting point. The drive will take around 40 minutes, depending on road conditions. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating Lake Allom, as they will guide you to the turnoff. The last section of the road may be unsealed and bumpy, so drive carefully.
Public Transport
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus service that operates on Fraser Island. Head to the nearest bus stop in your area and board a bus that goes towards the Lake Allom region. The bus will drop you off at the designated stop near the entrance to Lake Allom. From there, it's a short walk (about 500 meters) to the lake itself.
