From Surfers Paradise, a pleasant 30-minute walk south along the beachfront will bring you to Broadbeach. Follow the clearly marked pedestrian paths and enjoy the scenic views. Alternatively, walk along the Gold Coast Highway, which offers a direct route into the heart of Broadbeach.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available throughout the Gold Coast. A short taxi ride from Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach typically takes around 5 minutes and costs approximately $10-$15. Silver Service taxis are also available for booking.
Driving
From Surfers Paradise, driving south along the Gold Coast Highway (State Route 2) will take you to Broadbeach in about 5-10 minutes. Parking options in Broadbeach include metered street parking and various parking garages. Free parking is available but time-limited. Metered street parking costs vary, with time limits typically ranging from 1 to 3 hours. The Oasis Shopping Centre car park offers 3 hours of free parking, with hourly rates applying thereafter. Care Park at 3 Oracle Boulevard offers hourly rates. Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre parking costs $10 per day.
