Walking
From the heart of Broadbeach, such as the intersection of Surf Parade and Victoria Avenue, Kurrawa Park is a short walk east towards the ocean. Follow Victoria Avenue until it meets Old Burleigh Road, then cross the road to access the park. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by G:link light rail, disembark at the Broadbeach North or Broadbeach South station. From Broadbeach North, walk south along the Gold Coast Highway, then turn east onto Victoria Avenue to reach the park. From Broadbeach South, walk north along the Gold Coast Highway, then turn east onto either Victoria Avenue or Margaret Avenue. A single-ride ticket typically costs around $3-5 AUD, depending on the distance.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available throughout the Gold Coast. Simply request a ride to Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach. The driver will likely drop you off on Old Burleigh Road, directly adjacent to the park. A short taxi ride from Surfers Paradise would cost approximately $15-25 AUD, depending on traffic and surge pricing.
Driving
If driving, navigate to 155 Old Burleigh Road, Broadbeach. Limited parking is available in front of the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club. Additional on-street parking can be found along Old Burleigh Road and surrounding streets, but be aware of parking restrictions. There is free parking available at Pratten Park North Carpark, but parking is limited to 3 hours between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Paid parking is available at the Oasis Shopping Centre, offering 3 hours free. Parking costs around Kurrawa Surf Club are approximately $4 AUD per hour. Garage parking is available to book on the Oscar App for a rate of $2 an hour on both weekdays and weekends.
