    Cool Chamber is accessed via the Wonderland Loop. From the Wonderland Carpark, the walk to Cool Chamber is approximately 800 meters and is of moderate difficulty. Follow the signs towards The Pinnacle; the path passes through the Grand Canyon before arriving at Cool Chamber. Alternatively, from the Sundial Carpark, it's a 3.3-kilometer walk to Cool Chamber, also of moderate to hard difficulty. This route passes The Pinnacle, Silent Street and Bridal Veil Falls before reaching Cool Chamber.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Cool Chamber using public transport, take a V/Line train from Melbourne to Stawell. From Stawell, a local bus service connects to Halls Gap. From Halls Gap, the Wonderland Loop trailhead is accessible from the Halls Gap Picnic Reserve. From the Information Centre/Grampians Rd bus stop in Halls Gap, it is approximately an 11-minute walk to the Halls Gap Picnic Reserve. From there, follow the Wonderland Loop. A short taxi ride from Halls Gap to the Wonderland Carpark will shorten the walking distance to Cool Chamber. V/Line train fare from Melbourne to Stawell: approximately $25 - $40. Local bus from Stawell to Halls Gap: approximately $5 - $10. Taxi from Halls Gap to Wonderland Carpark: approximately $15 - $25.

    To reach Cool Chamber by car, drive to Halls Gap via the Western Highway (A8). From Halls Gap, follow signs to the Wonderland Carpark on Wonderland Road. Parking is available at the Wonderland Carpark. From the carpark, follow the walking track to Cool Chamber. Parking at Wonderland Carpark is free. Limited parking is available, especially during peak season. Consider arriving early to secure a spot.
