If you are driving from Halls Gap, head northwest on Grampians Rd/A200, following the signs to Mt Zero Rd. Continue on Grampians Rd for approximately 10 km. Turn left onto Mt Zero Rd and follow it for about 4 km until you reach Heatherlie Quarry, located on your left. Look for the parking area just off the road.

For those already in the vicinity and wanting to explore on foot, if you are at the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre, you can start with a walk to the northern end of Halls Gap. From there, take the walking trail leading towards the Grampians National Park, connecting to Mt Zero Rd. It’s a significant trek, approximately 12 km one way, so be prepared with sufficient water and snacks.
